CRAFTS AND ARTISANS

Pozos is known for its artisans who produce and play musical instruments based on ancient prehispanic designs. Each piece is hand-made by the very artisans personally selling them usually around the Plaza Zaragosa. They are virtually masterpieces of form and function.It is not unusal for an artisan to demonstrate the sound of his creations.

Better yet would be a chance to hear one of the groups of Pozos, such as Corazon Endiosado or Caracol del Fuego, playing all of the instruments in concert.
